I understand that none of you white/whitewashed individuals give a single shit about us because you don't interact with us; and instead spew this verbal diarrhea about how Fedi is being ruined because we don't want people in our mentions defending Nazis, or calling our food gross, or saying that racism doesn't exist here (all of which I've seen this month alone).

Numerous white people who follow me see this happening on a regular basis. They don't experience this and they have told me this. They are aware that their time on Mastodon is vastly different from mine and other BIPOC folks. BIPOC I'm mutuals with get trolls on their content ALL. THE. TIME.

You mentioned you are concerned about the divide. Do you think the divide is because of TheBadSpace? Do you think the LGBT community is divided because of Ro? Do you think TheBadSpace created the TERF movement? Gays Against Groomers? Do you believe racism towards queer BIPOC is a retaliation of online "divide and conquer" on Mastodon? I'm begging people to go outside and interact with the world.
