    I really, really hope that no one vandalises the Cenotaph today on Armistice. It's not even that I necessarily believe the government's arguments towards this protest being a bad idea, but if people attempt to vandalise the Cenotaph or get violent at an otherwise peaceful (hopefully) protest, that will hold significant bad ramifications for the country at large.

    If violence does happen, then all that tells the government and the Home Secretary (fucking bitch) that she has the right to go "Yep! i told you so! Told you guys this protest would end badly!" and then this could further escalate by her and the Tory government potentially putting in further plans to ban protesting all together like they already try to with the Public Order shit.

    Please don't. I don't want to live in a country where people aren't allowed to protest. No matter who or where you stand with idealogically

    @lewdthewides @allison it's alright, it doesn't really scare me I just need to accept that sometimes the social media parts of the internet can't be as forgiving and open as i'd like
    instance i'm on in specific for example already has 10 instances blocking us, a few of those being for basically "associating with people we have deemed to be risky or bad or whatever" - i think one of them was even for associating with someone who associates with an instance like that, which i totally don't get why they'd block for that. it's way too far imo

    Just a little note for anyone who might want to interact with me, it's hard for me to make a post like this:
    I have some friends who may say things that others might disagree with. This unfortunately sometimes involves politics.
    Contrary to what people say, if you happen to agree with something someone on a right-leaning political spectrum has said, that does not automatically make you a rightoid right wing bigoted racist and all those sort of words.
    Conversely, it also applies to the left-side too.

    I believe that people should be free to be friends with whoever they want to be friends with and I don't really agree with mutual policing unless it's for a really serious reason (i.e. noncery or actual fucking serious crimes).

    I try to be as honest as I can usually and I don't like lying to people, but if you have an issue with something I'm doing or have said please try to bring it up to me personally. I'm autistic and I may not immediately pick up on it myself due to social understanding issues. I will gladly talk out any issue you think you might have with me as I want to try to improve myself to be the best version I can be.
