   Just a little note for anyone who might want to interact with me, it's hard for me to make a post like this:
   I have some friends who may say things that others might disagree with. This unfortunately sometimes involves politics.
   Contrary to what people say, if you happen to agree with something someone on a right-leaning political spectrum has said, that does not automatically make you a rightoid right wing bigoted racist and all those sort of words.
   Conversely, it also applies to the left-side too.
   
   I believe that people should be free to be friends with whoever they want to be friends with and I don't really agree with mutual policing unless it's for a really serious reason (i.e. noncery or actual fucking serious crimes).
   
   I try to be as honest as I can usually and I don't like lying to people, but if you have an issue with something I'm doing or have said please try to bring it up to me personally. I'm autistic and I may not immediately pick up on it myself due to social understanding issues. I will gladly talk out any issue you think you might have with me as I want to try to improve myself to be the best version I can be.

     @tori Well said. I'm in the fortuitous position of my politics being odd and syncretic enough that most people don't really know what to make of them, with all that being said, it certainly doesn't hurt to hear out a wide range of voices and take from them what you can.

     @lewdthewides @allison it's alright, it doesn't really scare me I just need to accept that sometimes the social media parts of the internet can't be as forgiving and open as i'd like
     instance i'm on in specific for example already has 10 instances blocking us, a few of those being for basically "associating with people we have deemed to be risky or bad or whatever" - i think one of them was even for associating with someone who associates with an instance like that, which i totally don't get why they'd block for that. it's way too far imo

     @tori @allison the kingpins of fediblock lists. You can be as welcoming to resolving conflicts as you want....they will never reach out to you before blacklisting you.
     
     Don't mean to scare you, but you seem like a nice person and I would hate to see you get blindsided by fedi reality. Just something to prepare for when that time comes

     @allison @tori unfortunately, the fedicops like to push neurodivergent ppl over into dark fedi because of their willingness to listen, learn, and form independent opinions. You have to believe in guilt by association if you want to stay on the fedicops' good side
