@olmitch @pwm
"A term used mockingly by those who oppose "Free Speech". Mostly used by SJWs who are against Freedom of Speech and think it should be substantially curtailed.
Often has the unintentional side effect of making everybody who does not already agree with them roll their eyes and stop listening. It's one of those terms that lets you know exactly where the person stands as soon as they say it, and that they will almost certainly be making a very extreme and unconvincing argument - much like when somebody says "Libtard" or "Rethuglican". You know they will dismiss any other views, are extremely biased, and are probably going to make an argument based in emotion and opinion.
We should ban everybody I disagree with from speaking on campus. Who needs freeze peach?"
uhm okay

@olmitch @pwm It's an urban dictionary, https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Freeze+Peach. No traditional llm is going to generate such bigoted response

liberal fedi instances are suffocating as hell. i basically had to throw 70% of my political or otherwise thoughts away in fear of being banned

disabled dnssec in unbound because of the many retries and long failed wait times when querying blocked domains from the forwarding upstream servers

@dcc I get the hate around systemd for its all encompassing nature. But wayland? Whatever issue you have is going to be patched in the next few years. It's on the forefront of linux display technology afterall

@dcc Can't see a difference between them. Plus being it's powered by SUPERIOR Wayland and I'm familiar with sway/i3wm. Never tried dwl/dwm

Did it. I had to git clone the latest pmbootstrap because the one that the system provided was out of date. Currently running Sxmo Sway. Every other interface is unusable and slow

@matty @SarahGation Why are you not proving me his apparent existence then? Where is your god? Show me and I'll believe. Isn't that enough good faith?

@SarahGation You probably already go by the first statement. Religion like every other hegemonic beliefs wants to establish itself. It does this by conversion ofc, but also through many side-channels like music, arts, hipness, structural themes. In effect, it's trying to install itself not just in physical but psychological (which broadens to societal, once enough people are secured) form too. The question which turns ethics upside down here is, are the beliefs and codes of actions true? Which if you ask me, isn't. Why it isn't is already regurgitated a lot. I'll put a few:
1. Dogma. You have a stoned set of beliefs which you can't question. Contributing to unending intolerance of the other, whether they're true or not
2. Suppression of critical thinking. Following from the first point, you arrive at self/other censorship. Hindering intellectualism and scientific probation
3. Ethics. Non-believers are advertised and derogatorised as lesser of a human. Thereby, justifying oppression over them, cased like slavery, witch-hunting, genocide. How about gays (I don't embrace the woke notion of gender transition for anyone and everyone, but some are born like that)? A death blow, seriously?
So that encompasses why I believe a 'majority' of the beliefs of any religion are severely outdated and dangerous to be around and keep around. What we need is not static formations of the acting on the world, but ones that grows and changes based on the whims of reason alone

@matty @SarahGation See, I've learnt English through formal means, philosophy, documentaries, some movies, stories and stuff. That's what I know
As for fedora tipping, idk. I'm just expressing to the best of my ability. Eloquency surely helps. I don't think I'm too esoteric
Btw, I expected you people to be more esoteric and original than me. But the only thing I hear is shit, fag, wat and stuff

The extent to which religion has stretched its roots into society is concerning. Destroy every god rooted belief. It's unproductive ah putting it conservatively

@dcc I'm going to pretend I understood that and get out. I'm going the default xfs over lvm (or lvm over xfs whatever) route, they must have a good reason for it
