@BrentToderian the starter packs on Bluesky really make all the difference.

I like it here a lot, but I find it tough to find new people to follow without searching out specific topics or names.

Plus fewer people are starting Mastodon accounts. There isn’t enough info for folks to know which server to join. Or even what servers are or how to find them.

I highly recommend listening to this episode of You're Wrong About... Rosa Parks.

It was a great look at all the cvil rights work done by Rosa Parks before she became the face of a movement, and all the work done by other people before one person became the face of a movement.

It's a good reminder that history is rarely changed by one person alone, and believing it is erases all the good work done by so many people, including the person made hero of the story.

@killyourfm I hear you. We all reach our breaking point with Spotify at some point.

Mine was a few years ago when they started putting free to access podcasts on their platform and adding their own ads for the non paying users....

While at the same time the CEO's salary was astronomical and he was quoted as saying artists who wanted to make more money on Spotify needed to make more content.

I wrote them about it and then cancelled. I'm sure my email went nowhere, but I felt good.
