Not sure at what maturity level the kids need to be at before I admit to them that both Santa Claus and ghosts are actually real.

Years ago an older gentleman told me I needed to put more artistry into my forgings. I scoffed at that suggestion at the time because I was only interested in the most basic and utilitarian items. Now I find my self agreeing with him more and more.

It's almost March I guess it's probably time to take down my ceramic Christmas tree and black Santa from my desk.

Can't blame Iggy for that. I wish there were more nice seafood restaurants around me (Long John Silvers).

I saw libs of tiktok posted the other day (agast!) about some lefty making fun of Erika Kirk and everyone in the comments was piling on to drag her. Sometimes there's reason for hope.

The first chicken coop clean out after a long cold winter spell is always fun. The poop never dries and it freezes into a solid crust that the chickens can't scratch and mix in with the straw. Took nearly an hour to shovel it all out. I dumped it in piles in the yard and made the kids fling it around the lawn with pitchforks. That's worth at least an extra buck in their allowance.

I get sent around to Texas a lot for classes and I always have a good time wherever I go. I check out any historical places, museums, state parks, hiking trails, antique stores, living history villages, etc. I've even visited a zoo. Most of my coworkers complain about going because "there's nothing to do!" I can't imagine being so boring that your only entertainment is getting blasted drunk. Pitiful.

Dad informed me today that he is a regular YouTube commenter who belittles and curses all the libtards he comes across. Good work dad.

I also made her this hair pin. It took a long time to make because I always wait until the last minute and my anvil sucked all the heat out of it so quickly I was only able to work in ten second intervals. I was going to give it a typical blackened oil finish for the standard forged look but after I polished it and began heating it I really liked the oxidization colors so I left it as is.

Back in September I had the pleasure of catching pneumonia. It kind of came on suddenly where I noticed pain whenever I breathed in deeply and couldn't climb the towers anymore without stopping five times on the ladder to catch my breath. I'd get a low grade fever in the evening that went away by the morning when I'd feel fine again.
I got it checked after a few weeks and the pneumonia had caused a pleural effusion so they had to do a thoracentesis. Managed to suck this out of my chest. Yum.

@Mombi you see, the Lord works in mysterious ways.
I actually had a followup appointment today and the pulmonologist showed me my CT scan for the first time. He told me half my left lung had collapsed, which I didn't realize. It was pretty nifty seeing the fluid filled void and the odd impression my crushed lung material made.
