The Democratic Party has a 31% approval rating; which is actually up from January. @blogdiva Yes; but that's a very hard conversation to have while Trump is weaponizing it to justify turning both of our closest neighbors into puppet states or annexing them outright.

Actually tho, Elon Musk is probably the single best argument FOR Apartheid reparations and seizing the property of wealthy white Afrikaners you could possibly make. Like, NONE of these people can tell a joke and when they try it's so awkward you can physically FEEL how bad they are at it. So hell yeah Trump is SERIOUS about a 3rd term.

The fact is that Trump has literally been telling you he's a fascist and he's dead serious about doing fascist shit, since the moment he came down the escalator and announced his candidacy. He told you he wanted mass deportations, and now he's trying to do it. He told you he wanted to erase trans people and now he's doing it. These nazis have been "joking" about annexing Canada for a couple years now and now he's trying to do it. Russia, Ukrain, Palestine, he just SAYS it. He's not joking, ever.

Power lies, crassly so. Right now you're fucking watching a bunch of rich nazis argue that they're fighting for free speech, and women's rights, and equality while they install a fascist dictatorship built on white supremacist principles, conduct pogroms against trans people, and steal anything that isn't tied down.

Anyone, can call themselves anything, and say their repugnant actions are actually an altruistic good and you better get serious about not just taking their word for it.

Also, bigger picture that I think a lot of Americans would do well to sit down and contemplate for a while because this is going to keep coming up so long as fascists have their hands on the levers of power:

Anyone can call themselves anything, and say their actions serve whatever purpose they like; that doesn't make it true. If I went around saying "I'm just spreading love" while gunning people down with a Bushmaster wherever I went, you wouldn't say "well FUCK love man, this love shit sucks."
