@gleick I'd add that the US is paying El Salvador to enslave these kidnap victims, for about a year. Therefore. it could be understood that these men are still in the custody of the US, just as a prisoner in a private prison in the US is not out of reach of the US judicial system.

@PeterLG @w7voa I don't speak for or pretend to understand O'Brien's political strategy. I think the majority of my union's members are fucking dumb fucks as well. But The Teamsters still have collective power and as one of the few unions in the US I'm going to share their news releases because I don't see anyone else repping for US, blue collar, union workers on Mastodon.
