I've done all my academic publishing work in vim + LaTeX, so I admittedly can't help you here.

@beka_valentine @emilygorcenski Actually, like how specific are you wanting? Because a tree with child pointers and a root pointer would do it, but that's a directed cyclic graph. Directed cyclic graph is too general (it's easy to construct a cycle that hits a small subset of nodes), but I don't know if there's anything more specific.

@beka_valentine @emilygorcenski My graph theory (and data type knowledge, admittedly) is kinda rusty, but having googled around a bit, a connected graph should describe what you're talking about.

@anarchopunk_girl @rose I'm genuinely sympathetic to people not wanting to take feedback from randos on personal projects, but it does seem a little disingenuous to subsequently insist that you're open to it. I'm also a little confused about how this is meaningfully a community project, given that as far as I can tell, every commit comes from him (if that's just an artifact of some nonstandard PR process, then never mind).

@anarchopunk_girl I do really need to read the stuff about play.vicious at some point. Like a year ago, I went through Ro's blog posts about how it went, but those seemed to stop right at about the point the instance launched.

Re: the recent clusterfuck, it really does seem like radlibs will be all about protecting trans people in the abstract, as long as we're quiet and helpless and in need of protection. As soon as we start becoming outspoken and assertive, they'll throw us under the bus.

This is a known dynamic for lots of marginalized groups, admittedly, but this is probably the most overt display of it I've seen in a minute.

@anarchopunk_girl If it helps any, I've skipped wearing a bra pretty often and never gotten hassled for it, so you'll probably be fine.
