I kinda want to try dying my hair, but I'm concerned that if I ever stop then I'll basically end up experiencing that Nazi super-ageing thing from Indiana Jones when I discover it's gone way MORE grey in the meantime.
@HauntedOwlbear I wonder how much of this is the usual confident nonsense and how much is due to miscategorisation and totally nonsensical metadata. Summarising reviews actually strikes me as one of the less wildly inappropriate applications of this technology, but it's not surprising that the summary claims the device to be an optical drive when Amazon's slapdash product info seems to suggest that's just what it is.
I've never felt particularly strongly about one Linux distribution over another in the past, but I've just had a pop-up about Ubuntu Pro where the only "Nope" option was "Remind Me Later" so I guess I'm switching to something else whenever I upgrade my SSD. #enshittification#Linux#Ubuntu#UbuntuPro

@wesnoth Congrats! (Also great to discover you're on Mastodon.) I've always liked Battle for Wesnoth - actually hoping to take a crack at writing a campaign at some point.
