@rechelon what little nothing i heard about Nick Land does not sound compelling, so i will continue to assume he is an actual piece of land, like a square meter of grass somewhere.

@KinocKayfar i think the real concern with voting is just what it does to you. that you become attached to a party/candidate, and to some level accept their ruling position as legitimate. i do think that's a real risk, but i also think there's gotta be some some risk in telling antiauthoritarian-leaning people in particular not to vote. saying the average person shoudn't vote would be another issue, but that's probably not who you reach/convince with anti-voting sentiment.

i finally unsubscribed from #whatsLeftOfPhilosophy, i suspect this will be noticeable quality of life improvement.

marxism is such a fucking miserable ideology, and they are just so damn arrogant about it, too.

not to mention their constant equation of marxism with leftism, even though if leftism means anything good it is freedom and social equality, and marxism takes a big dump on both.

i wonder how much having binaries for multiple architectures can help can help #reverseEngineering / #decompilation efforts.

i was thinking of games like The Lost Vikings that have been ported to dozens of systems, and it seems like there's gotta be some useful information in the various binaries. i don't know if they were based on common source code or not, but in any case it seems like you could learn additional constraints form different implementations 🤔.
