@moira@rand@ascentale inflating tires should be done weekly. The amount of air lost per week is about 15-20 psi in very high (100 psi=690 kpa) but skinny (1"=23 mm) tires. The loss is less pronounced the wider the tire. I've gone up to 3 weeks between pumping on fat 4" tires; I can feel when it's low. Max inflation pressure is limited by the rim, not the tube or tire. My rear rim has a chart showing max pressure as the tire gets wider. #BikeNite
@kenshirriff a friend of a friend worked for the company that Intel decided to not hire (again) to prove that their float math unit was correct. I can try to put you in touch if you are interested in the human side of things.
@georgetakei Cave Johnson says: "When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
@mattly there are bootable disk wipe distributions. If you are familiar with Linux, you can boot to a install, then drop into shell and erase it manually with dd.
