At my last ballooning gig a 7-8 year old boy was excited that I watch YouTube videos.

Boy: Yeah!

Me: Better than Lunchables?

Boy (looking disappointed): .....No

I mean, I don't think it's old by any stretch but observing culture, language, science and tech evolve in real time is wild. Sometimes it happens so slowly you don't notice and suddenly it's a different world.

I'm at an age where I've amassed endless stories and cool stuff to give away because it's been taking up space for years. I can now be that person that my older friends were to me when I was a young and curious mutant. I'm grateful for that guidance and hope to pass it on.

I need to find a wrestling ring or promotion that trains somewhat near the Albany area. I was just asked to train my partner in pro wrestling moves but I need a ring to do it right. I've been wanting to get in there and goof off. He said it would be a "perfect date" 😁

I haven't been in a ring since 2004 so literally twenty years but I feel like I could easily get my groove back - at least a little given that my body is a bit more fragile than the invincible early twenties, but I think I would have much better form today. I wanna rassle so bad! It's actually hard to find people that want to do it or even watch with me so this is exciting. I might bug some local promoters.
