    To be fair is was this post https://lab.nyanide.com/objects/4bc51042-9d8f-4cd9-9171-b161f210cc48 that made me look into Wikipedia for examples of inter-universe crossovers in fiction — and this is where I have found Captain Nazi, so it's probably complicated in this regard — looks like it's from the era when borrowing characters from different franchises was popular. Or something like that.

    @kirby have probably broken the lab again, hehe.
    There isn't much there anyway, just a post about what it would be if some "interesting personalities" (let's call them that 😏) from Twitter could interact with their counterparts from Fedi, I exclaimed that it would be something like a crossover episode — and for no reason at all I went to Wikipedia to look for examples of such 😁

      Captain Nazi (Baron Albrecht Krieger) is a Fawcett Comics and DC Comics supervillain, and rival of Captain Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr. Captain Nazi made his first live-action appearance in a 2016 second season episode of The CW TV series DC's Legends of Tomorrow, played by André Eriksen. Publication history Captain Nazi first appeared in Master Comics #21 (December 1941) and was created by William Woolfolk and Mac Raboy.       Following recent benchmarks looking at how the upcoming Ubuntu 24.04 LTS release is looking on Intel Xeon Emerald Rapids as well as the performance gains for AMD EPYC 9004 series on Ubuntu 24.04, I next turned to the Ampere Altra ARM64 server processor for seeing what the performance is looking like there with this Long Term Support Linux distribution release due out in just over one month. Now that we're into the feature freeze for Ubuntu 24.04 and is using the Linux 6.8 kernel that will power this Long Term Support release, I've begun testing out Ubuntu 24.04 on more hardware.

    Palemoon is a rather obscure bowser using old Firefox' engine with what, a couple of hundred of users? Most of those are using very unorthodox hardware.     I only have one Windows machine, but I know precisely what you're talking about: I have a directory with old photos that I've never sorted and every single time I open it, it starts sorting them again — and sometimes still gets it wrong, stops halfway and appends the rest, even the newer files to the end of the list.
    I don't even know why this happens, it looks like its indexer is broken, sometimes it just stops generating thumbnails for images and the easiest way to fix it is to log our and log in again. There is a process you can kill so that it relaunches that thing, but I always forget its name.

    Windows 11 isn't even that bad once you rip the Edge out, I really like the new window arrangement feature. I hate the Start menu though — I've never been a Windows user and it's not something I'm used to, tiles are so much better IMO, but now that they've given up on UWP applications there isn't much use for them anyway.
    In any case I can't upgrade Windows on that machine, it's an old Xeon-based Mac Pro so it has to have some TPM, but it's probably not Windows-supported, and I'm not motivated enough to figure out how to circumvent that requirement.
