     @m0xEE @Dicey @Humpleupagus @Owl @n3f_X My main complaint is they are trying to design everything to be on an ipad now instead of a desktop which is annoying af. Nobody fuckin works excel spreadsheets or whatever on their phone.

     Windows 11 isn't even that bad once you rip the Edge out, I really like the new window arrangement feature. I hate the Start menu though — I've never been a Windows user and it's not something I'm used to, tiles are so much better IMO, but now that they've given up on UWP applications there isn't much use for them anyway.
     In any case I can't upgrade Windows on that machine, it's an old Xeon-based Mac Pro so it has to have some TPM, but it's probably not Windows-supported, and I'm not motivated enough to figure out how to circumvent that requirement.

     I know that feel!
     I only have one Windows machine, but I know precisely what you're talking about: I have a directory with old photos that I've never sorted and every single time I open it, it starts sorting them again — and sometimes still gets it wrong, stops halfway and appends the rest, even the newer files to the end of the list.
     I don't even know why this happens, it looks like its indexer is broken, sometimes it just stops generating thumbnails for images and the easiest way to fix it is to log our and log in again. There is a process you can kill so that it relaunches that thing, but I always forget its name.
