@didier Tangentially related: I played the MotoGP arcade game recently. Feels strange in that you effectively steer with your legs, but very cool (and diffficult).

@jcrabapple A few years ago I told my former doctor that I'd just had my COVID shots. Out of nowhere he starts talking about how COVID vaccines are pushed by Big Pharma execs, I should watch these people on YouTube (that I found had been banned from Twitter for spreading vax misinfo), I should "do my own research" (his words), full-on anti-vax without outright saying so. It was a 10-minute unprompted rant. Surreal, disturbing to hear that coming from a medical professional. Never went back.

@ai6yr At a certain point you just had to tolerate it if you were going to even use the OS (which I no longer do).

@j In regulation you have the entire game. In OT a single possession is a huge deal because you theoretically MUST score or you probably won't have another guaranteed shot. It's really just that in OT every possession matters.

@j It somewhat mitigates the coin toss win. Whoever wins can (probably) receive, and get an advantage, but the other team at least has a shot to come back or win.

@j I'd prefer both teams guaranteed a possession, play until there's a winner. Simple.

What to say about that game? Embarrassing is an understatement. Union quit after the third goal and might as well have got on their bus. No offense is this team's calling card, but letting attackers run rampant is not. Yet that's what happened the last 15 minutes. At least they play Kiel at home next week, a team that is somehow worse than they are, but who knows at this point? Just awful. #FCUnion #Bundesliga
