I think it is far more likely that we will see closed leagues in Europe—the Super League—before we see promotion and relegation in MLS. If anyone does it first, it'll be NWSL.

Big soccer clubs all over the world are envious of how much money the NFL makes, despite only being popular in a handful of countries. They want to be like the NFL. Only way to do that is a closed shop.

@Ylyej That gap is only going to grow wider. It seems that a lot of investors are looking at investing in Brazilian clubs since they can be owned privately, unlike clubs in Argentina.

I live in a neighborhood with an HOA. They're not overly oppressive or strict with rules, but one of their rules is no political signs or displays, which is probably a good thing. My town and my local precinct went about 55/45 for Harris in November.

I'd like to put some kind of symbol of resistance in front of my home, maybe in the little garden out front that we have control over.

But what kind of flowers, shrubs, plants speak "This house isn't part of the death cult!"
