@reesecommabill It makes me laugh when people trash MLS for not having relegation. I feel like saying, "You do realize that if the Premier League was started today, there's no way anybody would accept the relegation model, right?"

There's still a long ways to go, but I bet in maybe 30 years the U.S. has a Europe-style 1st Tier/2nd Tier pro soccer format for both women and men with promotion/relegation (on the Europe schedule no less). Lots of likely merging to happen between MLS, USL, NWSL, WPSL Pro, etc. Reminds me of the NFL/AFL situation in the 60's. Bound to happen as competing leagues begin to rise and fall and the market gets bigger. Interesting times!

@reesecommabill I looked and they're 1-6-3 since their Cup win. They beat Herediano 4-1 on 3/12 in the Champions Cup round of 16. They're terrible.

@reesecommabill Yeah, after Klopp supposedly put in a good word for him too. That could only ever last so long, though. The clear expectation is Champions League every season, and this season is probably not that. You can only have a generally ineffective offense for so long.
