Rats shake their bodies to music. The rhythm that people get into is about two beats/sec, and from an "elephant time, rat time" perspective, we tend to think that rats would prefer a faster rhythm. They don't. Instead, they shake their heads in the same rhythm as humans. Maybe the evolutionary origins of music are older than we thought.

Yes, the fediverse is safer for some users than centralized social networks, and I'm truly happy for them. But for other users, it is much less safe.

I learned from SNS that people have different incomes and thus have different senses of money and time. Really meaningless to compare the amount of cash they make or how they spend it. Some are fulfilled, and others can only speak ill of others from a safe distance. Pointless to point out every time they feel different than you.
