D has departed in a cab. Catching train at 6.55am. Hopefully to pick up car, fixed, in Goulburn. Then drive home. It’s been an unusual visit with no car, but we did everything we intended to do, and enjoyed ourselves. Great that we saw family yesterday, after momentarily forgetting that we had no car. 😁

@carlmalamud @bmacDonald94 “We don't know if he has any capacity to learn, but we must give the benefit of the doubt in all cases." I think it’s quite clear that Trump has no capacity to learn, at least in any kind of civil behaviour.

Have what I assume is post-viral cough. Yesterday, treated as if asthma. Which means no sleep last night. Awake coughing most of the night. At 4am, cancelled today’s physio appointment. 5am, gave up, in armchair, drinking tea. I suppose the only cure is - time.

@bmacDonald94 @Susan60 I still have my Twitter account, purely for a small group of people there. When the inevitable demise comes, I suspect they’ll follow the ones who’ve already moved to Bluesky. I tried that, briefly. Not for me.

Medical student asks what kind of food I’d eat in a day. I mentioned junket. Am met by baffled look. Explained it’s an old fashioned dessert, milk set with rennet tablets. Student turns to computer to look it up. Clearly, not something she’d care to try. 🥣
