@Plasticbluemusic @BeAware @Brett oh the Hentai bots are relentless. I have suspended multiple over the last year or so. They will just pop up and start spamming the #anime like crazy. One of them racked up almost 3gb of AI hentai images before I noticed and suspended them from my instance. These were all on remote instances btw.

Pretty interesting "podcast" here on Activity Pub, AT Protocol, and the Fediverse overall. I say podcast due to it really just being kind of a video essay with many segments and cuts. Talks about the Fediverse, how things came about, and where things are going. It's good to see more of this getting out to the masses. It's by @mkbhd, @andrew_manganelli, @davidimel, and @parmesanpapi17.

@BeAware Why when I hear about that .art instance is it only due to drama lol, I truly believe I have never heard about that instance in any other setting lol.

@jsit That would be a great addition actually, especially with some of the bigger instances suspending for rather dumb issues. Would give users of said instance a lot more clarity.

@feditips tbh it’s better to start your own instance, managed hosting is often very overpriced and really stingy on storage. Taking the time to setup an instance is more worth it imo!
