@dwev @benjaminbellamy @yassinedoghri I just updated PodcastAP to link to feeds on Castopod.

I identify Castopod feeds when receiving the data from the index "generator" value.

If someone is already following a Castopod feed, I couldn't find a way from the data returned in the account to indicate it is hosted by Castopod. If you have an idea, I'd like to update it to detect the feeds from the existing following.

PodcastAP has been updated to show buttons to follow the feeds existing account on the Fediverse.

What hosts are Fediverse native? I'm working on updating PodcastAP to suggest the official account for the feed over the AP bridge.

- PeerTube instances (ex: NAtube)

@pierostrada Thanks. Mostly just another way to let the feeds be shared. Podcast Index started an AP bridge and I wanted a way to make the accounts easier to find.

Also, thanks for showing me that there is a bug with the emoji size :)

That's correct. The Podcast Index runs a bridge that makes each feed and every episode available via ActivityPub using the ap.podcastindex.org bridge.

There is a Fediverse first podcast host called @Castopod . They still produce an RSS feed but each feed is an account episode is a post.

@laurenshof @dave I saw that a couple times during development when I was following using a Pleroma account. I'm not sure what causes it.

Does it happen for all feeds or just some?

Import an OPML or search for a Podcast or Music feed to follow on the Fediverse when logged in with a Mastodon or Pleroma account.
