@WarnerCrocker @GottaLaff makes a ton of sense for DG. They have 1-2 people stocking and no one at the register to even see who’s stealing 😂

@BlueWaver22 @GottaLaff @WarnerCrocker self check at Walmart actually created more jobs/hours for the front end. Having 26 registers with 4-6 cashiers on average was the old way. With Self check, you generally have more than that watching/helping the area, during busy hours especially. In my old store, I think we almost doubled the number of cashiers when we got more self checks installed.

Is Siri still a beta? It messes so much up. Weird example: I said “Siri, play Soothsayer by Buckethead.” Siri responds “Playing Soothsayer(dedicated to Aunt Suzie) on Apple Music.”

@RalphBassfeld thanks. That’s the closest but think I’ll just have to start force closing it. It still remembers my last position in the folders 😭

@RalphBassfeld I can change the view and save it etc, but say there’s 200 files in the folder and they’re sorted in alphabetical order. Open the folder, it takes me to the files that start with “P” instead of A so I have to scroll it to the top each time.

@davemark I have the 8gb M1 and would only upgrade to a 16.

8 is fine usually; I’m a light user. But when I’m doing school work (business) that involves tableau, etc running at once, i can the beachball a lot. Or if I wanna play a game at high resolution etc. Or if I want 3 tabs open in chrome (rarely) 😂 Hate having to close all my other apps out.

@metropia I think either they already had names chosen, want to let some of the hurt settle so it won’t be quite as sad a night, or don’t want it to feel like “he’s going in cause he just passed away.” I think it’s probably a mixture of those.

Why does my #Finder always open halfway down the folder? If there’s enough items for a scroll bar, it never opens at the top. Nor the bottom. Right in the middle. #apple #macbook #mac #macos #tech #help

@jongary Only that one app sees it and I believe the information never leaves the app. Doesn’t go into the cloud or to servers etc. Wonder if that’s why the app is only on iPhone right now. So the stuff doesn’t even get synced between devices.

@davemark and last night I was JUST about to say how I need to spend less time on Threads and more on Mastodon.

@ArnoldBooker the solution isn’t the booking. It’s taking out the PLE completely between Rumble and Mania. Mania matches have been built/setup for MONTHS. We generally know who will fight. If we need a number 1 contender for some belts do to injury etc, do them all on a big, commercial free or special RAW/SD.

@WarnerCrocker what’s weird is 3-4 days before, our phones went SOS for about 5-10 minutes here. And the ATT landline in my name for my mom went out(again) a couple days before, came back on a couple hours, then went back down.

ATT is gonna owe me more than $5(again)😭
