Why does my #Finder always open halfway down the folder? If there’s enough items for a scroll bar, it never opens at the top. Nor the bottom. Right in the middle. #apple #macbook #mac #macos #tech #help

@RalphBassfeld I can change the view and save it etc, but say there’s 200 files in the folder and they’re sorted in alphabetical order. Open the folder, it takes me to the files that start with “P” instead of A so I have to scroll it to the top each time.

@RalphBassfeld thanks. That’s the closest but think I’ll just have to start force closing it. It still remembers my last position in the folders 😭

How to disable the scroll position saving in Finder?
By default, the Finder always saves the last scroll position in folders and restores it when these folders are opened again later. How can I disable this feature? I want all folders to always open...
