have not used #Microsoft #Windows in over a decade.

owe to #OpenOffice #LibreOffice my slow crawl out of the Windows ecosystem. that was about 20 years ago. i refuse to use anything that needs me to run Windows or MSOffice.

actually got into web development after years of being a desktop publishing expert, mostly using Adobe and MS products. haven’t touched any of their stuff since i moved all my workflow to FLOSS products.

sometimes i do miss Macromedia & Dreamweaver.

i have not used #GoogleMaps in over a decade.

one of the first things i do when setting up a new #Android unrooted #Android phone:

1. activate developer mode
2. give permission to the browser to download & install software
3. go to https://f-droid.org
4. download & install their app
5. disable #GooglePlay

then i proceed to install all my apps from there. a must have:

and basically, what the #DeepSeek team did was, since the H800 chips didn’t have the power that the H100s, they had to optimize everything down to the assembled components of the chip.

back in the 1990s that’s how folks first using languages like Java had to code things ―the software language was far more powerful than the retail hardware. so coders like my ex- (who used Java to create abstract expressionist painting on the screen) was doing assembly level coding to achieve that in 1998.
