@Natanox @puniko @stefan i will definitely not finish the game like this. it was more of an attempt for science to test out the limits of adaptive tesselation. Honestly the results are amazing for integrated graphics running on 512 mhz.

@Natanox @puniko i have yet to play it. But since i just swapped from my main PC to this 10watt minipc to save on electricity bills that might not happen anytime soon. Except you tell me Nier Automata runs on a Celeron N5105 :blobcatthink:

@stefan @Natanox @puniko Sony Consoles eat more electricity than my gaming pc not even joking. and also no my newest model there is a ps3 :blobcat: Best option might be Nintendo Switch but i dont own one of those (too expensive)

@Natanox @stefan @puniko I got to the first save point. I did get some slowdown on the boss fight and in general it probably runs at 80% speed. I noticed when i got back to base (the memory cutscene) where it was very smooth. And yes this is 640x480 resolution in window mode and it only even runs close to full speed cause of adaptive tesselation in the gpu settings.

@puniko @vib we checked another browser and not even the homepage is getting past loading circle. On the other hand if i go to the site it just works. We are using parsec atm let me try to disconnect and see if its related.

The instance was locked but opened up with an invite link that was then used by right extremists to swarm the server under false names? I can see why this would be an issue.. As admin I would probably lock out all new accounts since that announcement, lock the instance to invite only after and add a disclaimer to the main website explaining why it was locked in that fashion. Then wait for the storm to pass.

@thatonecalculator @atomicpoet How do the requirements for hardware look? Does it work on 512mb ram? How well does it handle a more than a thousand users? Which kind of search functions are possible and are there drawbacks on functionality compared to mastodon?

@atomicpoet @thatonecalculator This looks promising. Though it needs a dark theme. But please please keep in mind to keep it low on resources. Pleroma/Akkoma is a good standard to go by. People are already struggling with hardware requirements for their hosting servers so this has to be adressed. Take your time with it and make it good.
