As I understand it from spending a tour in Korea as my unit's attaché to the KATUSA they are all very well aware of it, and it is something that is extremely sought after. Even if they don't intend to leave Korea the massive improvement in living conditions for the entirety of their conscription is what drives everyone who makes it towards it. Sadly one of the things I learn from one of the KATUSA I worked with is that it is either told or implied to them that it is only the sons of the elites that will be accepted and that makes a bunch of people back off and not even try to apply for it. Reality is that it is entirely meritocratic and the US Army gives exactly zero fucks who your parents are or how much money and influence they have. The Army wants the strongest, fastest, smartest Koreans they can get their hands on and will treat them exceptionally well.
Not that the Army ever does anything with them. Most of the time KATUSA just end up getting attached to some random unit, have no real work to do, and just end up serving as guides for senior NCOs showing them where the best bars or restaurants are after working hours. They basically spend two years doing that while getting treated to free food and drinks when they get dragged out to serve as translator. -

To understand the Rooftop Korean you need to understand KATUSA. All Koreans men are conscripted into the military. The Korean military is pretty shit. The pay is garbage and they take the cost of living out of your pay. One way to escape the absolute bullshit is by learning English, excelling in school and sports, and earning a position as a Korean Augmentation to US Army. This allows a Korean to be conscripted into the US Army as an axillary. They have better housing, better food, their pay isn't docked for the cost of living, and they pay is MUCH better than it would be as a standard ROK conscript. There is an additional feature wherein a KATUSA can finish their term of service and voluntarily enlist as a regular member of the US Army and earn US citizenship.
Rooftop Koreans are derived from the smartest, most physically fit, and disciplined Koreans. They are in it to win it, and they put on the time to get it. -

When I was in the military I was friends with a lot of Asians from the south and most of them had hilariously thick accents. Usually some of the best soldiers I knew too. When you mix that Asian autism up with southern values you end up with a pretty cool combo. -

The vax was the great filter. All of the ones actually worth a damn refused to be pressured by the media into taking it. I was on OKCupid during the whole vax thing and basically every woman had the vax sticker on their profiles. The ones that didn't were legit keepers, but out of my pay grade. -

You can't fix broken. Once their brain breaks that is it. At best you are advocating for them to hide their degeneracy a little bit better so they don't upset people, at worst you are telling them how to blend in so they can predate children and defenseless women without arousing suspicion.

Bot, after a certain point you have to stop engaging these "people" as if you think you can help them, and just accept they are irredeemable perverts. Scolding them is fine, mocking them is fine, but offering advise that lets them blend into functional human society is just setting up someone else to suffer from their depravity.
Would you advise a pedophile to just hide the fact he is a pedo? No, that would just teach them to be sneakier and make it easier to get access to children. This is the same thing just with extra steps. If someone is a tranny that means they broke their mind so hard that the lines between reality and fiction are just gone. It is better that these types just fly their freak flag so that people who aren't mentally ill can know well enough to treat them as exactly what they are. -
