@goatsarah Yes. There is absolutely nothing wrong with rotary knobs and other physical controls.

@goatsarah Different water quality? When I still lived in Germany, the same brand of coffee, made in exactly the same way at my parents' house and at my studio flat in Nuremberg would taste completely differently. The water in my hometown is quite soft, the water in Nuremberg is particularly hard.

@goatsarah So many culture shocks, especially with financial stuff.
I arrived in '96 and the first thing my bank did after opening an account was to issue me a cheque book. The last time I'd seen a cheque in Germany was at least 10 years prior...
Later that year I wanted to transfer money to someone (I can't remember the reason) so went to my bank and they told me that was only possible if they had an account with the same bank... Bank transfers had been the standard in Germany since the 60s.

Interesting indeed. I have no idea what pig's milk is like because it's not something that is generally available and I have no idea how practical milking pigs is. I would guess that it's richer than the milk from cows, sheep or goats? I eat pork so I would definitely try.

@goatsarah A capybara makes any photo better but this is just excellent.
