If one of your students or peers tells you they feel unsafe around one of your colleagues, don't turn around and email them with an article you co-wrote with said colleague. Unless you do in fact want that student to see you as unsafe as well.

Well, it's been a hell of a June. This is the last #Juneteenth reparations thread until 2025.

It has been really lovely to see how much the threads have been shared, and even to hear that someone had their monthly goal met! It shows how we can build networks and structures to care for each other.

Procedure: Black folks please post your gofundmes, ko-fis, cashapps, etc. as you see fit. Others, especially if you benefited from the federal holiday, please boost and donate if you have means.

Here are the 1st 2 threads. Many ppl still have $$ needs that are unmet and there's also a Sudan mutual aid post in there, as well as information about Marcellus Williams, a current client of The Innocence Project, who is currently scheduled to be executed for a crime he did not commit.
