     @thiswomanswerk @Adam_Cadmon1 Getting people into confrontations with the cops and/or putting them in a position to be arrested when they didn’t sign up for it also destroys the trust that makes movements and organizations work.

     @MisuseCase @Adam_Cadmon1 yes yes yes like people really do not seem to appreciate the strategy, planning, and communication that goes into these actions. Kinda seems like they just wanna see a photo of a cop getting hurt or something; no concern whatsoever really for the person who does that or their safety

     @thiswomanswerk @Adam_Cadmon1 Sometimes activists might want to de-arrest people or something like that but the planning, training, and agreement for that needs to happen beforehand. It’s also a bad idea to provoke police for shits and giggles which seems to be what the person at issue suggested here.

     @Adam_Cadmon1 this person/those people care more about the spectacle of activism than the safety of the young people putting their bodies on the line.

     As someone who has been to many protests, we generally distrust those who would encourage others to fight police as individuals especially w/o any consideration of whether certain ppl's ids make them more vulnerable to police brutality.

     V easy to say stuff like that when you are a bad actor/not planning in the least to get out there yourself
