@WarnerCrocker Yeah I think I agree completely. The issue now for me is the cost of the iPad Pro is way out of whack with the amount of work I could use it for, but I'd still like to get the nicer screen ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Instead of saying that the iPad should dual boot macOS, you should be required to state the problem you’re trying to solve and explain why it can't be achieved with an App Store policy change, or missing API.

This is something in the realm €10,000 worth of hardware, not to mention the thousands that Apple takes from Obscura’s revenue.

Why did I bother moving to Apple silicon if all those performance gains would be wasted by the inability to debug over a cable?

Xcode 15 is fucking train wreck and I can't believe Apple isn't behaving like it’s actively on fire.

on an iPhone XR, plugged in, it takes about 5 seconds between Obscura launching and being able to capture a photo.

on a 15 Pro Max, plugged in via USB-C, it takes 48 seconds to do the same.

It's infuriating, and makes trying to get anything done almost futile.

I remember listening to @lisamelton talk about the determination the early Safari team had in not committing any code that had any performance regressions, no matter how small.

I miss that Apple.
