@lanodan uuuh my gnu tar on arch linux does not? -z is not “autodetect compression”, it’s “use gzip”. it explicitly errors out when you give it compressed content on stdin.
optionally, replace bsdtar by tar with -xz arguments, but that won’t work with anything except gzipped packages (bsdtar auto-detects compression, so it’s more general)
hello fediverse, i am looking for a page i found some time ago that gave a very clear and neutral summary about llms to non-technical people, basically concluding at every step of the way that there’s very little actual value they can bring. it was in the form of summary cards, about 10 of them iirc. i have looked everywhere but can’t find it anymore. i’m pretty sure i saw it on fedi. :BoostOK:
