@wes @geerlingguy I do know. I don't think it's sufficient *from my point of view as the audience*. Jeff will do as he pleases, of course.
Nebula charges very little by comparison, because you get all channels for the same monthly rate. And there are multiple good ones. And it was just an example of a non-exorbitant service.

@geerlingguy @wes I didn't want to suggest PeerTube precisely because in the short term, you'd lose income. I do respect your desire to, you know, eat. And feed your family.

@Wileymiller @GottaLaff @Salty He's giving Musk and the Project 2025 people exactly what they want. The "Trump is a moron" thing looks to me like "I'm going to oversimplify and underestimate Donald Trump."

@Wileymiller @GottaLaff Trump is not a moron, though. He's a weird needy psychopath. He's playing entirely to his worshipers (word chosen advisedly) who will celebrate him as a hero, and to ingratiate himself with Putin. He honestly couldn't care less what grownups in the USA think.

@GottaLaff @Wileymiller And yet, today he accomplished exactly what he wanted to, somehow.

@Salty @GottaLaff @Wileymiller Never wanted the deal. It was a setup.

@dansup Other Fediverse users have commented that Pixelfed needs some back-end work, stuff like being able to easily federate with other projects and migrate accounts off a Pixelfed server (which now doesn't work).
Any chance there can be a pause in new features to fix the existing issues?

@vkc I agree with you entirely. And I know you already use Linux. (Me, too.) Everyone who isn't a Microsoft executive or stockholder, I think (e. g. @geerlingguy) agrees with you.

@inthehands @grork @Dhmspector Actually Snopes checked the first edition. It just isn't there. Also the person who faked that image admitted it.

Thank you for posting the results, Sir.
This is very unusual: my choices won in two categories. I normally vote entirely for Hugo losers.

Hmm ... @taiyo reports from China that the venue has a Hugo hall. @KevinStandlee (when you get back), is that something the Mark Protection Committee authorized?
