The civilain population of Europe needs to undersand how vital Ukraine is in our defence. Now and in the future.

At the moment, Ukrainian forces are literally keeping a fascist dictator from entering our home countries with his tanks.

At the same time Ukraine is teaching our defence forcess how to fight our common enemy. Without these lessons, our militry would learn the hard way. With this training we stand a chance.

I think more cars should be designed by people who hate cars instead of an echo chamber of Me-Like-BroomBroom people.

I think cars have a place in our society but we have let a minrity take over. Like why the fuck we have 1000hp sports cars outside race tracks? Why do we accept that a few people can blast exthaust noise to thousands of people, when completely quiet operation is possible?

Why do we let people store their not-in-use boxes everywhere taking space from people?

Does running help you lose weight?

Maybe.

I'd say that runnign makes your eaing habits better and weight loss is a side effect of the generally healthier lifestyle, not die to running directly.

My alcohol use dropped probably to about 10% to what I used before once I started running regularly.

Our Indoorbike.app (Open Source bike smart trainer) now has a public URL-based API:

Any app can now generate workouts and open it directly in the indoorbike.app editor. The user can then just ride the workout.

No user data ever leaves the source system. No user data, or workout data is ever stored on our servers. Full privacy interoperability.

Here's an example how VertMatch uses the API. It generates an alternative workout based on your history.

Ok. Having a Pihole and Google Wifi might not be the best combination.

My Pihole died -> Google Wifi router no longer connects as it no longer has a DNS -> not possible to change any settings as it seems to need a cloud connection to change it...

I just spent 2 hours resetting everything to get my wifi back online.

Yeah, if I had the money, I'd switch away from Google. But I have a full mesh of Google Wifi devices. Switching and throwing our funcitonal stuff doesn't feel right.

So it turns out that most massively wealthy people are fucking disgusting and don't really give a shit about other people... who would have know..

Maybe we can finally stop admiring people who gather their wealth by abusing others?

I think it makes sense to let US companies know why we're not considered their offers when approached by their sales people.
I hope more people there will start to understand that their government actions have real consequences for the whole country, whether you voters for them or not.

Over the last year I have stopped approximately 1070€ of annual subscription costs to US products in our family.

In our company, we're in process of stopping somewhere between 20k€ to 25k€ annuals subscription fees to US products.

I know I'm not the only one, and our company isn't alone doing these changes.

We have a lot of people in Europe. If we all shift a portion of our reccurring monthly costs to European products, it will make a huge difference.

Seriously, I'm all for innovation and investment into public transit, but this isn't it. It doesn't add speed, capacity or affordability to any projects.

It's time for smartphone companies to stop updating their products with yearly cadence. There's no relevant innovation happening every year warranting an update. All we're doing is mass producing electric waste.

Apple, no idea. Google finally caught up with what Fairphone has had for quite some time. Fairphone 5 has software updates for 8 years.

I fully support Ukraine and their right to attack in Kursk. Putting russian territory under real threat feels like it could really force russians to think about ending the war, which they can do at any point if they want.
