@dansup @pixelfed I much prefer the new version, but as others pointed out, I think maintaining the case is important.

I would also like for the # signal to be kept to make it more explicit, which I feel is specially more relevant when the hashtag is in the middle of the text for example (which I assume would still be possible, it would be horrible for them to always be at the bottom).

I personally don't want it blocked, obviously not because I like or trust meta (although I do think the e.e.e fears aren't realistic, the fediverse is well established and no matter how much they extend, few here will switch to meta if they cut the federation later), but because it might be a way to talk with some acquittances that only use their platform (which is literally everyone I have contact irl, nobody I know is in the fediverse).

@feditips talking about the interface (web), there's no way to resize the post/reply textarea, right? This drives me crazy 😄 , especially when replying, it's extremely small.

@mitexleo @pixelfed "Could benefit from more active development" is an attempt to kill dansup 😆 he probably works 20h a day in this already lol

If I recall correctly, there's UI changes being worked on, so for me it's mostly more user interaction that would be nice, I think. 🤔

I somehow struggle even to keep within the (generous) 2000 character limit on #pixelfed 😆 No wonder I have a hard time on mastodon with 500 hehe

(Meanwhile, in real life I rarely say a word 😅 )

@dansup Your work is just amazing! Pixelfed was something really needed and it's incredible that there's now a fully functional and open source alternative to instagram (and federated, of course!). Thanks a lot for it and for your many other projects! 🙂

@dansup @pixelfed Ohhh, these Inline modals are gonna make things so much easier! As a workaround we could open it on another tab, but the modal makes it much more convenient to quickly browse stuff, thanks a lot.

Having the instance's admin account somewhere would be nice indeed, it's not trivial info to find right now, and having absolutely no idea about the administration makes it harder to decide on an instance.
