I have no great insights on today's major news, but it's hard to see how it will improve things for anyone but Netanyahu. Perhaps Hamas decided that's how they could do Israel the most damage.

I've seen at least three accounts I follow offering BlueSky invites today. A few months ago I might have taken them up on it, but I feel like the window of my interest has closed. Nothing sadder than Studio 54 with no one on the rope-line.

Steve Scalise is fortunate that as a member of congress he enjoys the excellent health insurance he's spent his whole career helping to deny to other Americans.
