Have you tried adjusting the lens distance? -2 diopters should be well within the range it can accommodate.

    Other possible VR issues:

    1) It takes some getting used to. Maybe give it more time or try double checking the fit and calibration. But if you struggle after careful calibration and a few 10+ minutes sessions, then...

    2) You may have mild astigmatism. Worth discussion at next optometry appointment.

    3) Some folks (~10%) have reduced depth perception ability from stereo images. Even non-glasses-wearers just never get the headset images to fuse and stay focused.

What's tricky about VR is that because it's not actually far and the headset's lens is doing the bulk of refraction for you, most glasses wearers can and should take off their glasses to use the headset. Here's my understanding of how headset wearing is impacted by different conditions:

    Myopia (nearsighted): fine without glasses.
Astigmatism (non-spherical): need contacts with the headset.
Presbyopia (poor focusing ability): fine without glasses except for extreme cases.

VR has been "5 years away" from having common uses outside of gaming for the past 40 years.
