@skinnylatte for a short while, there was a fresh tempeh vendor at the farmers market here in my tiny town. it was so delicious that after they stopped making/selling it, i learned to make it myself. it's not difficult, but it helps that i already have experience making cheese. now i make it with all kinds of substrates--beans, lentils, rices...so good, and so much tastier than the storebought kind indeed.

@skinnylatte i love LA Union Station, it's so glorious. do they still have those big wooden 'throne' chairs in the waiting area? it kinda looks like they cleared the hall out from your photo.

@dansup awesome! what does "users with several blocks" mean? is the issue that i have blocked multiple users? or that i just blocked someone with multiple posts?

frustratingly, #Pixelfed continues to be super buggy, at least in Firefox. frequently, it'll show me that "load more images" button after 3-5 posts. other times, it'll just stop loading posts on the local feed.

just now, i scrolled through a half dozen or so posts of text from a book from the same person, so i clicked over to their profile and blocked them (i wish i could do this directly from a post) and when i came back, i got this. and now it won't go away. this is on pixelfed.social.
