That is racism defined and demonstrated. It was overturned by white people for white women and babies, couldn't care less about black women or children.

@joeo10 I'm surprised that Project Gutenberg is still here, but they're VERY careful to not have books that have ANY copyright protection at all. That means a lot of the modern stuff is not going to be there ever until the next century.

The Internet Archive has lost their appeal to digitize their books, and so it's going to probably shut down in the next few days. I don't see them taking it to the SC.
It's very expensive and might totally fail in this court of right wing fascists.

Whew! just came back from my bike run to the glasses place..2.4 miles one way, making it 4. 8 miles biked twice in two days. Nearly 10 miles.

Arggh! Anyway-the glasses WERE cut wrong and I'll be getting them back corrected (and a little more money, though) next week. I figure for over $700 I should be getting something close to what I want!

@joeo10 I was not aware of the technicalities of the ruling, nor of the background. I'm shocked, though that Mozilla turned into a pay for play thing, and yes, I haven't been paying attention. Thanks for the information. Now, are there alternatives to Mozilla should they go belly up if Google does not win the appeal?

@joeo10 Is my memory bad or was Mozilla once an independent entity? I'm sorry I did not realize that they have become so dependent on Google for anything? When did that happen?

@joeo10 Mozilla still carries Ublock as an extension for their users. I use both it and NoScript to be totally paranoid about the issue.
