   @fmhilton It's really no different if/when you have Meta/Facebook apps on you phone, ditto Snap, Google, even dating apps.

   What we really need is a full on federal privacy law so companies stop this.

     If you use TikTok, you should be aware that it gathers your data on things like abortion.
     This is why it should be banned. It's helping defeat democracy by warping public thought.
