@chrism I want to so bad, but I'm still havin a really rough time movin to it full time from gentoo. Is it impractical to configure everything in the single configuration/hardware .nix files? I like the appeal of doing everything in one file, and would like to do it that way, but everything I read leads me to beleive I should keep my configs modular (flake-like). That seems to me like the wrong way to use NixOS though. Or am I just not gettin it yet? -

@mntmn A 6~7in 4:3 screen'd prolly be a good size. And anywhere <500g would be fine I rekon. Not too weigty but a bit'a heft is nice. Fer thickness I'd like to see it stay under 15, but whatever makes the parts fit is what it'll be I guess. -

@pointB @vkc I don't understand either. I use #vaultwarden web UI on desktop, and the official android #bitwarden client on mobile. Can't say anything's drasticly changed fer me. -

@joelpomales WOW ...so many things (potentially) wrong with that 😆
What specifically did you ask it to receive such a definitive result? Did it know you'd be using apt to install things? Did it know what window manager you use, or that it was one running under X, not wayland? If it knew the window manager you were asking about, why not suggest a native solution instead of installing another program?
This is the problem I have with current AI chats for most inquiries. For all the resources they have at their little robot fingertips, they seem to offer answers far less knowledgeable than what you can find yourself by simply searching through most any technical forum.

@cris Something similar has been on my todo list for many years. Hopefully I'll get around to it while I still have time to enjoy it. 😆 -

@Vijayvaradharaj @metamonkeystv @abijith @templemonkeys I think one of the biggest problems is that there's no longer an official linux client offered by Adobe. -

@Blort @x @pu I'd argue it's still quite doable as long as you have routable addresses to point to. The configs fer wireguard really ain't that hard to understand, even for novice technical readers. 😜 -

@mwl Never even thought if it was possible to use something other than one'a the big-name payment systems for store-type purchases. Is there any sort of freedom respecting online payment system out there that could be used instead? -

@gnu2 @gretared #Signal is what I'm likely to recommend to most folks these days. Basic security is quite decent, and it's rather easy for technologically challenged people to work out how to use on their own. #Telegram has become littered with spam lately, and the only way to block it is to pay for a subscription; file trasfers have gotten quite slow as well. While simple for many of us, #Matrix and #XMPP have too much logistical burden for most people to hassle with.
