Fourteen months ago, I gussied myself up in a new dress and thought for the first time that maybe I looked kind of good and maybe this hormone transition thing might pan out well after all.

Today I hosted a neighbourhood New Years Day party in almost the same outfit (different earrings, tho) and uh. Let's say I no longer have any doubts about the efficacy of hormone therapy and if I'll be happy with where I end up.

More seriously: do not let this one bomb, folks. This is a Marvel feature with three female headliners, two of them women of color, directed by a woman of color, written by three women. If this does poorly (or even not spectacularly enough), it will be taken as evidence that women shouldn't feature prominently in blockbusters.

Let's prove them wrong.
