@dalias My experience, yes. I plugged them in, found their DHCP IP on my router, then connected to their web interface. There's also an app which, I believe, can locate them for you, but they showed up in my DHCP and the MAC identified as 'Amcrest Technologies" (or hunt MAC address starting with 09)'

@dalias I have three of the Amcrest 5MP UltraHD turret cameras, including one that PTZ. They have RTSP and PoE. I have them set up in HA (I use the web interface for the PTZ one, but there is an integration https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/amcrest/ ).

@thomasfuchs @crmsnbleyd Yeah. I mean we've been at it for decades because it's an NP-Hard problem. Sadly, those working on things like deep learning, HIS, etc, now find themselves drowned out by the GAI crowd.
