@Antiqueight @davey_cakes May be worth contacting them? Could have been simple admin error that you heard nothing (IT issues, HR forgot to send an email, someone forgot to push a button). May be that don’t contact unsuccessful application, but it may also be that your job offer is stuck in someone’s outbox and they’re confused why you didn’t accept. 🤞

Yes there are a few brave campers, I was lucky to find a room mate for one of the overflow hotels despite signing up late, and they’ve done a great job between hired coach and hotel’s shuttle bus getting people where they need to be.

@Antiqueight Ooh, I need to set some goals too. A good tip someone told me for goal setting is ‘why’ - like what is the point of a tidy house? Keep asking the whats and whys and that’ll tell you the underlying desire. So usually wanting a tidy house is so you feel calmer. Or can find things easier. So what you really want may be to feel calm and organised…and then any goal that helps that is a good goal.

@Antiqueight Flip it around maybe? So it’s that you appreciate them when you reach out to catch up.
Of my friends I reach out more, and it used to hurt when people didn’t reply, but a few honest conversations from some friends taught me some have reasons nothing to do with me when they’re not responding. Some would feel guilty that they hadn’t replied but said they loved that I reached out again anyway!
Worst case you don’t hear back but try not to let it get to you, best case, awesome catch up.

@padraig @detachedspork How I see it is that like August/Sept/Oct while being Autumn can still feel very ‘summery’ and bouts of sunshine and heat - spring is full of snow and storms as winter blows away in spurts.
