While this isn't super necessary for the current application, it's certainly something to think about for future projects.
One of the goals of this project, beyond being useful in my lab, is to prototype a lot of stuff that I plan to use in future instrumentation work.
Anyway, I think a good next step is validating the inputs since I haven't done any of that yet.
Feed some test waveforms into the trigger input ports, echo to a hard coded set of output ports, and see what happens.
