@lanodan @ignaloidas yeah it's pretty rough.
it works okay for routers and switches though, where the configurations aren't so extreme.
i think mikrotik realized this, so they've started giving the products with extreme model numbers "friendly" names as well. (which typically means products with WiFi or mobile radios)
The model number I posted earlier belongs to the "Chateau 5G ax" -

@lanodan @ignaloidas That is basically what Mikrotik does yes. Although they usually shorten stuff down to be only one or two characters. They also do not use +, they only throw it into a soup, using CamelCase if anything to separate it. So the desktop I'm posting from (Gigabyte B350, Ryzen 1600, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RX 6600 GPU, built in a desktop case) would probably become something like this:

My HRV has a heating element which pulses on/off super often. And it drives me nuts, because it makes the graph unreadable in Home assistant.
My HRV toggles the heating element on and off every 5 seconds or so.
Thanks to this, the graph I get out of home assistant is just this unreadable catastrophe: -

Interestingly, if I click on the device itself, it properly displays an averaged line with the range behind it.
But I haven't found a similarly readable graph if I want to for example see yesterday's history. -

@lanodan not to mention a boat is often more comfortable.
for example driving to Bergen takes 4h despite the roads in that direction being about the best and straightest you can find around here. (4h30m by bus)
But by boat it takes about 3h30m and i can chill with (slow) WiFi and an on-board kiosk which sells food and drinks instead. -

@lanodan when traveling along western norway boats are usually the best option because fjords and mountains. if you want to drive you typically need a boat anyways.
for example if i want to travel from Florø where i am to Måløy where i grew up. i can get there in 1h10m with a catamaran. by car it takes 2h (and you still need a 45m ferry anyways) -
