    you use duckstation but found a bug, you come fix the bug and send a pr, but for whatever reason the dev feels like a turbofaggot and doesn't want to add your fix because he doesn't like it or he labels you an ivul notseee!
    well, then if it was GPL you could simple take your changes, change the name and offer download of binaries for your version that got the fix, but since it is CC-BY-NC-ND you can't, and if you do the faggot can come and sue you for infringing his copyright.

    @MoeBritannica @DrRyanSkelton and that is only if you decide to contribute AFTER the change, if you contributed before, that he did means that regardless of how much code you put in the program if you want to roll out your own fork you cannot use code from AFTER he changed license, but it gets worse because you gave code in the good will that the program would remain GPL, him changing that license is pretty much stabbing you in the back as now he can do whatever he wants with your code, including selling the program and give you nothing.
