@Wifiwits with your recently demonstrated extensive skillset, just play sad trombones at it
@jleedev how else tho
I think it's probably called "Geological Stories from the Season of Time".
The band is definitely called Holocene Era. It's three blokes from Crawley: Dennis, Chris & Leo. Dennis actually went to the royal college of music but became disillusioned with The Establishment. Chris is, um, difficult. Leo can't play anything but has a nice reel to reel tape recorder his dad gave him so the other two put up with him.
Oh shit it's a double album.
New-to-me module arrived today, so patched up something vaguely randomly to check it out, and it appears my rig is now generating the second side of a third-rate prog-synth concept album from 1985.
It's hypnotically bad.
@citizenhelene

i've got washing on because i'm also baking bread today & the kitchen will be warm
@Judeet99

In the early 1990s I knew of several manufacturing companies who still ran their production & material control systems on 8 bit machines with a 5mb (sic) hard disk and 8 inch floppy drives

Cried the security guard at the electron tube shop on Black Friday
Put the heating on when I got in. Even though it is only November. Because I am your typical effete southern wuss. But turned it off again just now because I have Cumbrian forebears who were fucking nails, man.
@inpc
Small thermonuclear device. Having trouble with my landlord/letting agents. This'll be par of the trigger.
People don't generally consider the importance of storage for electrons.
Keeping them in a nice tube avoids the problem of them scattering everywhere.
Anyone who's ever dropped a packet of electrons will know what a pain it is trying to get them out from under the fridge, sofa etc .
Here's a nice Small Scabious
Scabiosa columbaria that I saw while collecting Vitamin D today.
Still plenty about.
Been buying electron tubes, lads.
Out and about trying to manufacture a bit of vitamin d
@xtaldave
Seen that Great Ormond St are trialling "AI" note-taking app?
