Today's radio weirdness: a guy saying that if Jeremy Clarkson stood, he would be voted in as PM by a huge majority.
He seemed entirely serious.
Some proper delusional fantasy being publicly entertained by the bbc.

The reason I - despite not being a musician of any kind - started playing about with synths & stuff was that I felt I wanted a way to express some of my emotional & cognitive experiences whileI was living with (then) overwhelming MH problems.

The intended audience was only ever me.

Of course what happened was I ended up buying (and selling) a huge amount of gear but never actually creating the project I had envisaged.

We *had* excellent free at point of delivery dentistry for decades.
It was then essentially privatised, and almost no dentists opted to stay in the public system.
There are nhs dentists, but they are fewer and fewer and have huge waiting lists even to register as a patient.
The care on offer is no longer free, although cheaper than private, and ime pretty perfunctory.

Annoyance: been to (private) dentist. Used to have 2yr checkup and 6 monthly hygieneist. Suited me, teeth stable, can't afford any cosmetic work. Suddenly its 6mthly checkups. No need. Except of course it makes them 3x the money. Or forces you into a subscription.
Anither reason to hate Blair, who privatised a perfectly functional NHS dentistry system to no one's benefit except BUPA.

I've never heard any older person say this.

This isn't a complaint of profound existential angst, tho. Its really about decisions and luck and the consequences thereof. And to have made different decisions would have meant being a different person. Luck, of course, can't be controlled.
