I finally found the original sample of the album opener “Fucking in the Bushes" by Oasis … and I’d never had guessed this line came from this footage. The “give peace a chance" starting right after the announcement is just hilarious 😂

I’m looking for a kitchen scale that I can also use to weigh packages with - ideally up to 10Kg with reasonable precision. If that does not exist I'm ok with with up to 5Kg range.

Any recommendations. Preferred options are the ones that are built to last and have digital readout if they have a decent precision. Otherwise analog readout is is ok as well.

TIL: CAT 7 isn't an official cable category but rather a shortcut if you don't want to bother memorizing the differences between 6 and 6a and always want to go for the better option - in terms of insulation and speed / frequency.

TIL: The Fallout TV show, which I've enjoyed a lot, was actually shot on film. Makes me appreciate the effort that went into the first season even more.

If I could change one thing about Postfix it would be clear guidance on what options / restrictions to use to secure your mailserver. Be it through sane and restrictive defaults that you have to deliberately enable or better documentation or even maybe a guidance document.

The documentation is such a messy maze.

Hacker Achievement of #37c3 - I've reactivated my 2017 Threema ID from Screenshots and Password guessage.

I did it because I've received my first threema message since 2017 which I couldn't read.

Threema works with my old ID, message is gone though :)

User Experience still 1/10

When I'm looking for certain Italian recipes I try to stay clear from all non-Italian content in written or video format. Usually there are at least 1-2 things off. Plus the Italian content is often more entertaining in its own special way. Todays example: Pasta e Patate

Man denkt ja, also noch schlechter könnte es mit der Deutschen Bahn nicht werden … ich erspare euch an dieser Stelle einen ausführlichen Rant. Ändern würde es nichts denn jeder der bei der Bahn arbeitet fühlt sich nur als ein kleines Rädchen in der Maschine. Verantwortung übernimmt niemand, Schulterzucken wohin man schaut oder ggf. ein Fingerzeig auf externe Dienstleister. Null Ownership, nirgends. Immerhin kann man so sehr günstig ICE fahren.
